I chose the Documentation team as my main contribution team because I want to help make WordPress easier to learn for beginners. As a software development student, I know how frustrating unclear instructions can be, and I would like to practice clear technical writing while helping others.
My contribution project is to review beginner-friendly guides, test the steps in them, and suggest improvements when something is confusing or outdated. I chose this project because it lets me learn WordPress in depth while giving something useful back to the community.
My next steps are to join the team’s channel on Slack, read the team’s recent posts, and attend a meeting to see how the team works.
