Building my personal website with WordPress taught me how a site comes together, from choosing a theme to publishing content. The most useful part was learning to work with the Site Editor, templates and blocks, because it showed me how design and structure work together. The biggest challenge was finding where each setting lives in the dashboard, but with practice it became easier. As a software development student, I now see how WordPress can be a practical tool for sharing my work and my projects.
